Our guests were raving about the beautiful venue, the food, and the drinks. From start to finish the entire team made sure my husband and I were taken care of and no detail was missed. It allowed our guests to go with the flow, dance, eat and drink when they wanted or hang outside by the beautiful fire pits. The Stone House's grounds are just beautiful and there are so many places to take wedding photos - a big plus! My only flag is that dinner comes out a bit later than most venues, but for us that was perfect so we had uninterrupted time to dance. The whole event was fantastic. The couple decided to name the building Ravenstone Abbey after the castle in Hungary. still has a cozy charm to it. Food was EXCELLENT!! It was actually very intimate and everyone was able to connect much easier then a gigantic ballroom. She was so quick to respond to our emails and problem solve creation solutions. I've heard similar horror stories from my friends who have weddings scheduled at liberty house too. We worked closely with Carissa to secure the new date, and she and the venue were completely understanding and gave us no issues rebooking (allowing us plenty of time in advance, which meant we could keep a Saturday date -- completely unheard of at other venues at the time). Planning the details with Carissa was so easy, you can tell they run a tight ship! The Stone House at Clove Lakes is a spacious Staten Island paradise and a top island wedding venue with award-winning food and accommodations. nsured we had everything in order on the big day. They are organized and easy to plan with too. We had Bonnie for our coordinator, and she was extremely helpful. We got married in the lodge and it was the perfect setting because I didnt want the typical ballroom feel. My bridal attendant was helpful and the Maitre did a killer job. She made us feel so special during our tour and answered every single one of our questions and was flexible on our ideas and visions for our day. We didn't end up booking Stone House due to our very large guest count, but I had to come write a review about how amazing our experience was with Michelle at Stone House. All of our many, many questions were answered and Bonnie was extremely helpful in making sure our vision for the day came to life. and how beautifully presented everything was. This venue is hands down the BEST. Carissa is a GOD! We know if its anything like we were treated at the Stone House , It will be a magnificent evening. The venue is also so beautiful on its own that you don't need much in the way of decorating, but it doesn't look like every other venue in NJ. We performed our ceremony in the same room as the reception with the fireplace. Our bridal attended was amazing as well and there the whole night with anything we needed! When I got COVID the week of our menu tasting/Thanksgiving, the restaurant comped 2 full Thanksgiving day meals for myself and my husband.beyond thankful for that gesture!
